Permalink terseink: A joke is not just a joke when it’s hurtful to other people. WORDS HAVE POWER. Do you really care so little about other people that you continue to alienate them even when they tell you it’s not funny? “I have gay friends” is one of the oldest cop-outs in the book.  I hadn’t called you homophobic before, but clearly you just don’t get it.  USING HOMOPHOBIC LANGUAGE MAKES YOU HOMOPHOBIC. KNOCK IT OFF.
